The electric motor is one of the most
helpful modem inventions. It is used in factories to drive machinery, for
electric trains and to power such everyday things as food mixers, vacuum

What makes that sort of motor so popular?
It is much more efficient than steam engines or petrol engines. It is simple to
work, it does not shake, it has very few moving parts and it is fairly silent.
