بعده .

- Pick it up. (it = the wrench) - Pick up it. ( X خطأ )

ROBOTIC SNAKES

- A snakebot is a
computer-controlled robotic device which moxes like a snake.

- Its purpose is
to move over ground, crawl into holes, and climb up

scaffolding. It
can crawl along a girder on a space station and carry a tool

to an
astronaut.It can explore the surface of a planet with a camera, and

transmit the
picture back to Earth.

- The snakebot
consists of about 30 modules, linked together by rods and

wires. Each module consists of
micro-computers, sensors, motors, wires,

wheels and
gears. The “head” module contains the central computer.

- The job of the
central computer is to control the microcomputers in all

other
modules.

- The
micro-computers are tiny computers which control the wheels and gears.

- The sensors
feel (or sense) what the module is touching and send this

information
to the micro-computers.

- The wheels and
gears cause the modules to move in different directions.

5- Read the following passage, then answer the questions below:

The safety inspector made an
inspection visit to Hassan’s workshop. He noticed that some milling machines
were positioned at right angles to the gangway. As someone could walk into one
of these machines and be seriously injured, he asked Hassan to move the milling
machines and place them at 450 to the gangway.

The inspector also noticed
that the operatives sat facing the gangway and were easily distracted by other
people walking along it. So, he asked Hassan to seat the operators so that they
would face the wall.

The inspector did not find
any fire-extinguisher in the workshop. If there was a fire, people would not be
able to put it out quickly or easily. The workshop should be provided with
