Teak

Teak is a hardwood
which is grown in India and Burma. It
contains oil which makes it resistant to water. Some glues cannot be used with
teak, because the oils have a strong resistance
to the glues. Teak can be cut easily, if the tools are sharp. It is also tough
and fire-resistant. Because of its resistance to water and its toughness, teak
is often used for making the decks of ships.

He stopped at a garage and checked the cooling system.

He found that the cooloant in the expansion tank was above the
maximum mark. When he checked the oil level, he found that it was below the
minimum mark. At last he checked the tyres and found that the air pressure was
above the permitted level. Ahmed asked the garage mechanic’s advice. The
mechanic said, “Remember you have just finished a long fast car journey. You should
wait until the car cools down before you check the coolant level or the tyre
pressures. The oil level is really a serious problem.” Then the mechanic
